Yesterday Caelan was standing up next to the desk in her parents room (she is always finding something to hold on to). She had some things in her hands and she wanted to get a good grip on them, so she actually let go of the desk and stood there on her own while she fiddled with her hand grip. Then she lost her balance and plopped down on her bottom, but she must have stood there for a good 10 seconds by herself. Today she has tried to stand on her own several times as well She doesn't last long usually before she squats back down on her buns, but it makes me think that walking won't be too far away for our little one. Pretty exciting, huh??
