Today is the first day of school. Caelan has been excited and ready to start. Last night Dad gave the kids Father's Blessings for the beginning of the new school year. Caelan told him that she would like him to bless her to be able to make new friends in her new class. This morning I woke the kids up with breakfast in bed: egg, ham and cheese McMuffin with an orange julius. I told them that I would drive them to school today (which is a pretty big deal since it's about the only day in the year that I do it). We walked Caelan and Ben to their classrooms. Caelan is in Mrs. Coffey's class - it is a combination 2nd and 3rd grade class. She has 4 other kids from our ward in her class, which is pretty crazy considering how spread out our ward boundaries are.
