The past few days Caelan has really started to find her routine. She has been going to bed at around 9 or 9:30 and she sleeps until 7 or 8 in the morning. Then she gets up and plays a little, and then wants to take a nap at around 12 or 12:20. This nap lasts a good couple of hours. Then she is up for a while. During the evening she doses off here for an hour or so, but then she is ready for bed again by 9. I really can't complain about it. It works good for me. While we were in CA I had to give her baths in the actual bathtub (because she has grown too big for the sinks and I didn't have her baby bath). I just put a few inches of water in the bottom and then lay her down and wash her up. She absolutely loved it. She splashed around and smiled and cooood and caaaaahed. So, I started bathing her like that at home, and now there's no going back to the baby tub. She loves being all sprawled out in the water. It keeps her highly entertained for as long as I leave her in there. She is also getting pretty good at eating her baby cereal. At first she had a hard time keeping the food inside her mouth, but the past week has shown real improvement. She likes it quite a bit as well. Caelan pretty much likes anything that has a taste (minus salsa, pickle juice and some of the other really crazy things her dad likes to try on her). She has definitely found her hands. She doesn't have a whole lot of control over them yet, but she grabs at things and really loves to shove those babies in her mouth. It's so neat to see her growing and becoming familiar with new things everyday.
