Well our little girl is turning into a little chatty goose. A couple of weeks ago she started making noises (other than crying). Since then she has become a little talking machine. She will go through phases (usually after a good feeding and a long nap) where she just blabs and blabs. It is so fun to listen to her. A few nights ago she woke up twice in the morning just talking away to herself in the dark. It was super cute. We love each new phase with Caelan, especially now as she is getting more and more social. Caelan and I (Mom) were in CA for a week helping the family get ready for Randall's wedding Open House. Dad came down on the weekend. Garrett's Open House was a Hawaiian theme, so we had snow cones and wore Hawaiian garb. Caelan wore a homemade lava-lava, and she was quite fond of the snow cone juices (we just gave her a little taste here and there¬and boy did she like it). We drove back to Utah with Charity, and Caelan slept or talked almost the entire way (which was good because Mom was really sick). Since we have been back she has been trying to get into some sort of a routine. It seems like every time we start to get a little regular around here, we get up and go on a trip (which messes everything up for a little while). School has started back up for Sean, so we are staying put for a while. Since Caelan has been alive, we have gone to CA twice (for a week each), Arizona twice (a week one of the times), Boise, ID (for Garrett's wedding) and Cedar City. And it seems like any time we weren't gone some of our family has been here visiting. It has been wonderful, but it will also be nice to get back into a regular pattern around here. She is just getting cuter by the minute it seems.
