Caelan is getting pretty brave on her feet these days. She loves to stand up and hold on to the edge of the couch or a chair. She used to just stand there holding on to it, but now she tries to walk along it. She isn't that stable yet, but she sure loves it. I think her favorite thing to do is when Dad or I hold out our fingers and she grabs a hold and immediately starts to walk. She loves walking. She really isn't very interested in crawling at all In fact, she gets a little annoyed after she's been on her stomach for very long. Maybe she is just going to skip that stage and go straight to the walking. I think we have finally gotten her into a nap routine. She has always been an excellent night sleeper, but she didn't take naps very regularly or often. Once we got home from our holiday excursions, I decided to get serious about napping. I started to put her in her bed once in the morning and then again in the early afternoon. Within a couple of days she figured out the routine, and even though she cries for a minute or two when I lay her down, she pretty much knows its bedtime, and so she falls to sleep. I must say she is much happier throughout the day. Babies need their sleep that is for sure....
