Our little girl is quite the nut these days. She loves to brush her teeth. I sit her up on the bathroom counter next to me while I am getting ready, and she just brushes her teeth (with water) the whole time. She is also quite fond of wet washcloths. Don't ask me where she got that, but she loves them. She will go into the laundry basket and pick out the wet towels or washcloths and start rubbing them on her head and washing her face. Dad has had a cold for about two weeks now, so she has seen quite a bit of nose blowing. She must have thought it was pretty cool because now she pretends to blow her nose all the time. She picks up a tissue or cloth and puts it up to her nose and blows. She actually blows correctly, which is pretty impressive. What a crazy little Tot. Her new favorite thing to say is "meow" -the sound a cat makes. She really gets her whole mouth and lips into it. Very funny! On Saturday I was working on the computer and Caelan woke up from her nap. I got her out of her bed and put her on the floor in her room. Usually she will play for a couple minutes and then follow me to wherever I am. This time she didn't. She was so quiet and content in her room for a good 30-40 minutes. I could hear her making playing noises every so often. Finally I went to go see what had kept her so occupied. WOW!! The mess of a lifetime. She had pulled out every single piece of clothing from her shelves and thrown every book off the bookcase and was in the process of pulling all the stuffed animals out of the basket. The room looked like a tornado had hit it. I walked in and couldn't help but burst out in laughter -she was just so happy with herself. Good thing it doesn't take long to throw things back on their shelves.
