Well, we are starting the potty training process. Caelan has been telling me when she is going potty in her diapers for the past couple of months, and within the past month or so she has started bringing me or Dad her diaper and wipes when she is ready to be changed ... so we figured we might give it a try. I know she isn't even quite two years old yet, but we will see how this goes. She is pretty bright, so maybe she will catch on. We got the toilet on Monday night and she went pee pee within an hour after we got home. Quite an accomplishment. Yesterday she had several accidents in her panties, but she also went in the toilet three times. She went through about 7 pairs of panties though. She starts to go in her panties and then realizes what she is doing and then tells me that there is a "mess" and then we run her to the toilet and she finishes up there. I guess that is part of the process: realizing when she is actually going or about to go. Anyway, she is doing fairly well for the first couple of days. She always tells me when she goes in her panties by saying "Oh no, mess.... Yucky mess," and then she takes me to where she went pee pee and points to the "mess."
