Wow!! We are fully into the holiday seasons. Caelan had a fun Halloween. She actually grasped the concept of trick-or-treating, which I have to admit made the holiday increase in its appeal by about ten-fold. Anyway, she was all dressed up in her little cheerleading outfit (Sean picked up a North Carolina Tarheels outfit while he was back east for work) and walked from trunk to trunk with her bag of candy open wide at each place. We had a ward Halloween party with trunk-or-treating (a wonderful invention). She got a pretty good-sized bag of candy (which graciously she shares with her mom and dad). It was very fun. She is learning so fast these days. She knows all her colors (besides the crazy ones like teal and such), and she can rattle them off like there's nothing to it. She knows her numbers up to 10 (and can count pretty fast), but a lot of the time when she is counting on her own she says, "one, two, five, six, seven... " Then I will ask her what comes after two, and she will reply, "three, four ... ," but she always skips those two when she is by herself. It's pretty funny. Today she came in to me with her little Leap Frog ABC ball and was singing the words a little bit. That's our next project -get the ABC's down. She's pretty smart ~ I think she will get the hang of it real quick. She has been getting really bossy with her little brother, telling him "no" quite often. I've been trying to teach her about talking nice to him. A couple weeks ago I heard her say, "I'm so sorry Dude" all on her own accord. I loved it
