Today is Caelan's one month birthday. I can't believe it has already been a month. It seems like we were just coming home from the hospital. She is as cute as ever. Sean and I were looking at her a yesterday and commenting on how it looks like she is growing quite a bit (in length -she still is a skinny little squirt). She smiles on her own -she did that for the first time last week. She is really happy and content right after she eats, and so she puts on some pretty cute faces. A couple of nights ago Sean was tickling her on her tummy and she just smiled and smiled and smiled. It was adorable. Her fussy time at night has gotten a little better. She actually gives us a break every other night -not that she is ever super fussy at all, but she has a harder time just about every other night. It takes her a little longer to get to sleep and she fusses about for an hour or so. On the other nights, she is pretty content to sit in her chair or in our arms at night in between her feedings, and then she falls right to sleep. We have found that driving in the car works wonders on her -even if she doesn't fall to sleep (which is rare), she becomes completely calm. Both Sean's family and mine are down for her blessing, which will be on Sunday. We will probably have quite a lot of people there. I guess that's what happens with first grandbabies. Well, I hear her waking up -I'm off to be Mommy again.
