Caelan had her first incident with cactus. We have several cactus plants in our backyard. Some are grown trees and easy to see but others are ground plants and sometimes get covered up by dirt or other weeds. Caelan was running and playing in the "forest" with Ben and she tripped and landed right on a cactus. She had a bunch of little stingers in her skin. I was away on a short weekend trip, so Dad took care of removing all her clothes (we just got rid of the shirt and have been trying to remove all of the little spikes from her jacket) and then removing each tiny little thorn from her skin. No fun.
