We had our first visitors in our new house. Grandpa and Grandma Dick came for Easter, as did Jenny and Kelly and the boys. The start of the weekend was a little crazy. The day after they all arrived we had a little plumbing situation (both the toilets and one of the showers backed up). A plumber came, but he needed a bigger tool to fix the problem so he would have to return the next day. Thanks goodness we had the rental still, so we could make "potty" trips to the other house (about a mile away). He got it all cleared out the next day, so we were good to go for the rest of the weekend, but it was an adventurous start to our home-owning experience.
We had a very nice Easter, especially with the extra visitors. We had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard (lots of great hiding places). We ate sweets and chocolate all day. The day before we went to the park to play and also to a huge train in town that you can walk around and climb on. That was an especially big hit with the boys.
