Oct 2006

Halloween was lots of fun this year. And even though I was ready to be done being pregnant, I secretly didn't mind this little girl waiting to come because I wanted to enjoy the Halloween festivities with the other kiddos. We went to a primary Halloween party. There were fun little booths for the kids to cycle through. Plus, they got little treats at each one (an added bonus). On Halloween we had the Adams come over. The men stayed at the house and passed out candy while Amy and I took the little ones down to street to trick-or-treat. Caelan was a cheerleader and her friend Kate was a princess. What a cute little blonde pair they were. It was the first time we've actually gone trick-or-treating (last year we were in an apartment so we just took advantage of the ward party, plus Caelan was still pretty young). She loved it: saying a little word, getting lots of praise and "oohs" and "ahhs" and then getting candy. She wanted to check out her spoils after each house. We managed to get to the end of our street before the girls were about done. Then we just hit up a couple of the houses that we knew. At home the bags were emptied and the eating began. YUM!
