Because of our new arrival, we weren't going to travel for Thanksgiving this year...so the whole Dick clan came to stay with us and enjoy the holiday at our house. We brought in our picnic table from the backyard, and ended up fitting around the table very nicely. Caelan thoroughly enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner. She didn't eat a ton of turkey or stuffing, but she loved the potatoes and other fixins. We took advantage of the company and went and did some fun things: hiking at Red Rock Canyon, feeding the ducks at the park and riding the new quad at the park. Plus we also enjoyed some time in our own back yard playing in the sand. Caelan enjoyed the company of Hailey (who came with Jenny and Kelly), and even thought she is several years older than Caelan she seemed to have fun with her too. Caelan was dolled up in her cute purple dress and started to play around with Grandpa which got them dancing together. Too cute.
