Caelan was a fairy butterfly for Halloween this year (and luckily it was warm enough to pull it off). Grandpa and Grandma Dick were in town, so they joined us in the festivities. We had a 4-ward dinner (hot dogs and fruit and chips) and trunk-or-treat in the church parking lot. Dad stayed at our car with Grandpa and passed out candy while Mom and Grandma took the kids around for trick-or-treating. There were TONS of cars. I think we made it to about 3/4 of them before even Caelan had had enough (and by that time their bags were totally full). And then the candy munching could begin.
