Milestone time!! Caelan learned to ride her bike without the training wheels. Two wheeler - here she comes. I went out one day and helped her a few times and then BAM, she had it. She's gone out almost every day since then. At first she had a little trouble pushing herself off (initially getting going), but I showed her the trick of pushing off against a curb, and she's got it. One afternoon she came in crying. She had fallen at the end of the street. I asked her what happened and she said that she ran into a parked car. Oh Man. I was worried she had dented some Mercedes Benz or something. I checked out the car and it was fine. She had a little scrape on the knee (official initiation into the "bike riding" club). She went out the next day to ride again. We've taken a couple of small bike rides as a family since then.
